ICT as Medium For Teaching/Learning

How Information and Communication and Technology (ICT) has transformed the educational methodologies when you were in grade school and now in Senior High School.

a. The singing of National Anthem

Grade School

- Nothing has changed because our teachers were watching and forming us into a line so that we could easily form a line and sing the national anthem.

Senior High

- It's different because, due to the pandemic, we no longer do it in senior high school.

b. Presentation of visual aids

Grade School

- Before, our teachers visual aids were written on manila paper or paper, which they simply pasted on the black board before starting to discuss.

Senior High

- Now that our teachers visual aids are available online, they hold online meetings or classes to discuss and teach us.

c. Class Record

Grade School

- Before, our teachers class records were on a class record book bond. On that class record, they'd write our grades and all of our names were listed there.

Senior High

- In this time, the teacher's don't need to buy a class record and write our grades and names on it anymore because most teachers already have class record file on their devices.

d. Class Dismisal 

Grade School

- Previously, the class dismisal was face to face, and they would leave the classroom together. 

Senior High

-Now it is thru online, which makes it difficult for teachers because a lazy student can simply leave and not attend to the online class.

e. Assignment and Research

Grade School

- Previously, the assignment was handed over to the teacher in person, and the research was done in groups, with each group answering the pannelists personally when in defense. 

Senior High

-Now our assignments and research are submitted thru online.
